Broadcast Partners develops and manages the station parks for all major radio stations in the Netherlands and Flanders. Therefore, we are looking for colleagues with technical knowledge of IP-Audio and together we make radio possible!

What are the activities

As an IP audio technician, you will perform work on our transmission systems. On a daily basis, you will be engaged in installing new and optimizing existing facilities in the field of IP connectivity and audio facilities for broadcast installations on sites. You will be responsible for the construction, maintenance and optimization of transmitter networks. You will be part of a team of experienced mechanics. We offer every opportunity for internal training and development so that you can get to know the organization and eventually work independently.

• Provide construction and configuration of audio feeds over IP connections including routers and switches.
• Installing de- and encoders for transport of the audio signal
• Installing sound processing equipment so the station sounds the way our customers like to hear it
• Installing and programming radio stations both for FM and DAB+
• Maintenance and troubleshooting on the IP audio systems to ensure they continue to function properly. In addition, responsible for resolving any malfunctions or technical problems that may arise.
• In the area of transmitter networks, we offer room for development and advancement

What you bring

• You are not afraid of heights and are physically fit to place structures at height
• Working and thinking level in the field of (for example: electrical engineering, Audiovisual engineering, ICT or equivalent)
• Experience as a mechanic is a plus
• Being able to read drawings is a plus
• Proactive and the ability to work independently
• Problem-solving ability and attention to accuracy
• Valid driver's license B
• Has or willing to obtain VCA and Safe Working at Height certifications
