Broadcast Partners develops and manages the station parks for all major radio stations in the Netherlands and Flanders. What are the activities

We are looking for a colleague with knowledge and experience of IT. Your knowledge will be put to use in the management, maintenance and optimization of the IT infrastructure in the area of channel parks within our organization. You will ensure that connections, systems, networks and servers function optimally and will be responsible for resolving any failures and problems. You will be part of a team of experienced engineers. We offer every opportunity for internal training and development so that you can get to know the organization and eventually work independently.

• Maintenance and new construction of our IT infrastructure and connections. These include beam and fiber connections (routers and switches, management IP leased lines, MPLS/VPLS, vxlan and SDN.
• Take and resolve incoming reports of failures within our IT infrastructure. For this, you will be in contact with various providers and colleagues.
• Proactively monitor and analyze system behavior to identify and fix potential problems in a timely manner.
• Explore new technologies related to the landscape of connection engineering.
• You will explain and instruct our team of technicians regarding new builds and configuration of routers and switches.
• You will participate in the technical management of the station fleet with a focus on infrastructure.
• Document network typologies, technical procedures, guidelines and manuals.
• In the area of network design and design, there is room internally for development and advancement.

What you bring

• Working level of relevant education and/or work experience focused on IT
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux systems is a plus
• Affinity and/or knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus
• You are flexible, customer-oriented, reliable and have a positive attitude
• You have the ability to communicate and organize
• You are accurate and analytical
• You are willing to work emergency shifts
• Driving license B and willingness to travel throughout the Netherlands and Flanders.
